The Building Surveying Division of RISM had the honour of paying a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Works (KKR), received by YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Works, together with YBhg. Dato' Seri Azman Ibrahim, Secretary General, YBhg. Dato' Mohd Sakeri Abdul Kader, and the top management of KKR.
The visit served as a valuable platform to present and discuss the importance of the Building Surveying profession and the proposed Act for Building Surveyors. It was indeed an engaging session, where the Minister and KKR leadership showed strong interest and posed pertinent questions on the subject matter.
Special appreciation goes to Sr Richard Ooi, Datuk Sr Firdaus, and Sr Steven Pang from the RISM Council, who accompanied the Division during this visit. Their presence and insights further strengthened our discussions with the Ministry.
