SINGAPORE/MALAYSIA – 17 AUGUST 2020 – Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) are pleased to announce a refreshing of direct entry requirements for RISM members who are Registered Quantity Surveyors of BQSM or Registered Valuers of BOVAEP to become RICS Chartered Surveyors. This initiative reflects the continuing evolution of the relationship between the two organisations in recognition of contemporary market needs. The new direct entry requirements recognise the ambitions of both organisations to advance professionalism in the public interest in Malaysia, in the region and around the world.
