The Malaysian Surveyor
23rd PAQS Congress
Date : 26th - 27th August 2019 Malaysia have proudly organised and
welcomed delegates to the 23rd PAQS
Venue : Pullman Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak Congress 2019 with the theme “Human
Wisdom Amidst Emerging Technology”.
The 23rd PAQS Congress was held from
26th - 27th August 2019 in at Pullman Hotel, The 23rd PAQS 2019 successfully gathered
Kuching, Sarawak. The congress which was the best minds in Quantity Surveying and Cost
jointly organised by RISM and BQSM was Engineering. There were many symposia, case
successfully held with participation of 550 sharing and research presentations on how
delegates including 250 international delegates. to brave the current and imminent challenges
Other than the congress itself there were other facing the QS profession in particular, and the
activities such as Social Events, Young Quantity construction industry as a whole. The congress
Surveyors Programme Ultimate Professional addressed each important topic to integrate
Centre, PAQS Committee Meetings, Siniawan contemporary and future technologies as well
Trip Siniawan Town, International QS Academic as concepts to elevate the profession and
Forum (IQSAF) University Malaysia Sarawak industry to greater heights.

Dinner Colosseum Ballroom. in The Digital Age and Towards Harmonisation
of Our Professional Standards”. Followed by
The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia Prof Dr Rose Alinda Alias’s presentation “In
(RISM) and Board of Quantity Surveying Search of The Soul in the Surveying Profession
